The Electronic HW Engineer role involves designing motor drive units, reverse engineering existing PCBAs, and participating in quality claims analysis and root cause identification. Additionally, the engineer will manage the existing product portfolio in collaboration with other departments such as Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Sales.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES:
The Electronic HW Engineer will be responsible for:
* Designing PCBA for drive units and electronic devices related to electric motor applications.
* Tuning motor and firmware applications for customers.
* Defining and editing technical specifications.
* Supporting the company in selecting electronic components, including cost negotiation to assist the purchasing team.
* Assisting the Quality department in identifying problems and finding solutions both during the development phase and after sales.
* Collaborate effectively with other departments, including manufacturing, sales as well as with suppliers.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Experiences /Skills:
* 5+ years of experience as a PCBA designer in sectors like electric motors, air conditioning, refrigeration, household appliances, or automotive.
* Proficiency in EDA (Electronic Design Automation) HW System, especially Altium and/or OrCAD, is essential.
* A solid technical background in electrical motors, such as 3-phase inverters and brushless motors.
* Highly motivated to analyze defective products, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
* A thorough knowledge of bus protocol communication with a preference for experience in Modbus and Linbus.
* Knowledge of the following standards: EN60335 – Safety Standard, EN 61000&55014 – EMC&LVD, EN60079 – ATEX.
* Strong Problem-Solving skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proactive and open-minded attitude and sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Required Education/Qualifications:
* Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering or related fields.
