RISC-V Memory Architect - Milan or Florence
I am looking for a highly skilled RISC-V Memory Architect to take a leading role in designing, implementing, and validating advanced memory systems for high-performance AI workloads. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative technology that will shape the future of AI hardware.
As a RISC-V Memory Architect, you will be responsible for developing optimised memory hierarchies, ensuring coherence and efficiency in AI processing elements. Your expertise in the RISC-V Weak Memory Model (RVWMO) will be crucial in designing systems that meet performance, scalability, and reliability demands.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimise memory hierarchies tailored for AI processing, focusing on non-blocking, high-performance designs.
Design and validate coherent cache architectures that maximise throughput and minimise latency in AI workloads.
Ensure compliance with RISC-V specifications, analyse memory consistency, and contribute to validation methodologies.
Develop simulation and hardware models for testing memory systems, validating coherence protocols, and aligning system behaviour with architecture requirements.
at the forefront of memory hierarchy advancements, propose novel approaches for AI workloads, and contribute to technical publications and patents.
Required experience:
Master’s or PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on memory systems or AI processing.
Proven experience designing and optimising cache hierarchies (L1/L2/L3) for high-performance AI systems.
Deep understanding of the RISC-V Weak Memory Model (RVWMO) and its application in memory system design.
Hands-on experience developing and validating coherent cache architectures.
Strong proficiency in simulation and hardware modelling tools for memory system validation.
Passion for cutting-edge AI hardware and memory system innovation, with contributions to research, patents, or technical publications.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
