Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join our Administration and Finance team, reporting directly to the Accounting Director. This position will be responsible for a broad range of financial activities, with a primary focus on preparing accounting adjustment entries for statutory purposes, managing fixed asset accounting, and ensuring compliance with local civil/fiscal regulations. The Financial Analyst will also play a key role in Balance Sheet reconciliation, preparing statutory financial statements (Consolidated and Statutory) and preparing tax declarations, including VAT, WHT, Intrastat, Esterometro, LIPE, 770, Certificazioni Uniche, and annual Tax declaration. This role will also involve supporting audit processes and ensuring timely and accurate completion of all financial and tax reporting requirements.
ACTIVITIES:
1. Account analyses, reconciliations. Conduct detailed account analyses and reconciliations. Oversee and execute month-end close activities (i.e. agent commissions, payroll booking), acting as the accounting subject matter expert.
2. Financial Statement Preparation (Statutory) & Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Prepare statutory financial statements in compliance with local accounting Standards - Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data for statutory financial reporting stardards - Management of statutory books
3. Consolidation of financial statements. Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with local standards
4. Tax Declarations & Compliance: prepare and file tax declarations, including VAT, WHT, Intrastat, Esterometro, LIPE, 770, Enasarco, Certificazioni Uniche, and annual tax declaration, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations - Collaborate with tax advisors to stay up-to-date on changes to tax laws and regulations - Maintain records and documentation for tax filing and reporting
5. Fixed Assets Management: Provide all the information to allow the correct fixed assest accounting: capitalization, depreciation, and disposals for Statutory and Tax
6. Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and responding to auditor queries; Collaborate with auditors to ensure smooth audits and resolve any discrepancies in financial reports.
SKILLS:
1. Sound knowledge of local accounting standards;
2. Expertise in cost accounting, VAT management, taxation and budgeting;
3. Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office software tools, in particular Excel;
4. Preferably knowledge of specific management applications (e.g., Microsft D365);
We offer a full-time contract from Monday to Friday with flexible hours of entry and exit (entry from 8.30 am to 9.30 am and exit from 17.30 to 18.30 pm), classification commensurate with the experience gained, daily tickets from 8 € and corporate welfare.
