Partner with the best
The Material expert is responsible to manage the material requirements and transaction coming from a non-conformity or a Service request and to drive supply and or the repair activity with suppliers and within the organization to secure execution excellence at a Project level in Avenza.
As, you will be responsible for :
1. Managing the material supply and/or repair coming from a non-conformity/ observation/Service request raised by Site Quality/Contractors relevant to material damaged during construction activities, starting from POR release up to material collection and shipment to Contractors or Customer site.
2. Working together with Operations, Quality, Logistic to ensure material readiness in line with project need.
3. Working with supplier and fulfillment dept. to expedite material readiness and arrival in Avenza.
4. Responsible for the POR/PO release for entire Module organization for big/medium and small modules (PAU)
5. Deploying continuous improvement and digital initiatives for material management
6. Seeking opportunities for cost savings across the business.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will :
7. Have Associates' Degree in Supply Chain or related field or equivalent experience (2+ years’ experience)
8. Have a BSc (Engineering is preferred) from an accredited University
9. Have a high consciousness of Health, Safety and Environmental practices.
10. Display an ability to analyse problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions
11. Demonstrate the ability to work effectively across functions in a global-matrix environment
12. Be fluent both in English and Italian and hold an EU work permit
13. Good knowledge of site planning
14. Good ERP knowledge (Oracle Application)
15. Knowledge of the disciplines of manufacturing management such as production and inventory control, and standard cost systems
16. Strong knowledge of standard Microsoft application (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word, Access)
17. Willing to meet challenging requirements
18. Desired Characteristics: Not required but additional preferred elements Certifications; APICS Certification
