HP is looking for a growth-minded paid search manager to join our team of in-house Search experts. The SEA expert will plan, implement, and evaluate growth strategies for HP. This role will effectively communicate the impact of Paid Search within the platforms to the business. The Paid Search Manager will work closely with the performance marketing manager to optimize media campaigns in order to maximize profitability and scale revenue growth efficiently. The Paid Search Manager will also support the implementation, analysis, and optimization of media campaigns across primary and secondary search engines, including Google and Bing, as well as actively manage media campaigns via 3rd-party bidding platforms. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with SEM and/or shopping (PMAX) campaigns and is looking for an opportunity to grow into an expert in Paid Search across these key digital marketing channels. Expected Responsibilities: Support SEM/ PMAX Campaign Managers in daily management of seasonal and non-seasonal media campaigns across HP.com’s e-commerce catalog of products. Conduct recurring weekly and monthly media campaign optimization tasks e.g. ad creative testing, keyword/SKU bid testing, keyword/SKU addition or suppression. Measure and evaluate the success of SEM/ PMAX campaigns versus quarterly business goals and help to inform Paid Search channel investment decisions. Routinely update search engine ad creative and/or ad extensions based on marketing calendar, seasonal promotions, and the latest discounts or coupon offers. Run tests, analyze results, and clearly communicate learnings across local performance marketing teams and greater International HP.com organization. Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly media campaign performance dashboards and deliver reports on regular cadence. Creativity and curiosity around what can be tested to enhance campaign performance. What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in a discipline with analytical or quantitative focus is preferred i.e. marketing, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics or related field. 3 years of hands-on experience in Paid Search campaign management (Google and Bing); performance-focused campaign experience is a plus. Preferred experience with 3rd-party campaign and bidding management platforms e.g. Google SA360, Marin Software, or Skai. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, pivot tables and/or Power Pivot; comfortable manipulating basic datasets. Google Ads and Bing Ads certification is mandatory. Positive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced team environment is a must. Highly detail-oriented with proven project management and organizational skills. Ability to link interactive plans and activities to business results. Strong analytical, problem identification solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
