Job Description:
Inside Account Representative
As an Inside Account Representative at Getac, you will play a crucial role in our sales process.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Lead generation and management: Attracting potential customers through both inbound and outbound methods, qualifying leads, nurturing them, and assigning leads appropriately.
* Managing relationships with channel partners to maintain and expand our market presence.
* Increasing and monitoring the pipeline for the team, scheduling calls/meetings and product presentations with potential clients to drive engagement and sales.
* Handling opportunities of small to medium sizes, guiding them from initiation to closure.
* Engaging directly with end users, system integrators, VARs (Value-Added Resellers), and resellers to enhance sales outcomes.
* Scouting for new business opportunities and expanding our reach within the industry.
Occasional travel may be required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support business development activities.
In this role, you will leverage your expertise and relationships to significantly contribute to business development efforts, supporting our business partners and ensuring a strong market presence.
You will be integral to nurturing client relationships and achieving strategic goals.
Experience & Education:
* Requires 5+ years of account management experience.
* Ability to multi-task projects and escalate pre-sales issues in a timely manner.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Experience in the IT Hardware sector is required, and knowledge of the rugged market is a plus.
* Proven success communicating and collaborating with both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Self-driven and well-organized.
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Experience with cold calling, lead generation, and qualifying potential clients/Web research.
* Excellent verbal and written skills are needed.
* Strong pro-active initiative to learn about new product releases and improving personal sales recruitment skills.
* Experience with internal sales distribution and forecasting systems is desired.
* Prior experience in a position that interfaces with internal company business units, HQ business units, and 3rd party business partners is desired.
* Business-level English proficiency is required, Spanish is a plus.
