RINA is currently recruiting for a Global Facility Technical Advisor to join its office in Genoa (Italy) within the Global Property Facility Management Division.
Mission
As a Global Facility Technical Advisor, you will support large-scale refurbishment projects within the organization. Your responsibilities include providing technical direction at worksites, preparing CAD layouts for new site designs, supporting procurement in technical tender preparations, and managing worksites during refurbishment to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Accountabilities
Project Planning and Design:
Assist in developing detailed CAD drawings and layouts for site refurbishments.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications and design plans.
Technical Direction:
Assist with technical oversight of refurbishment projects, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and specialists to meet project goals.
Review and approve technical plans and documentation.
Procurement Support:
Work with procurement to prepare technical specifications for tenders.
Evaluate proposals from suppliers and contractors, offering recommendations.
Assist in negotiating contracts to secure optimal terms.
Worksite Management:
Support daily operations, ensuring compliance with plans and schedules.
Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for effective execution.
Monitor progress, quality, and safety, addressing issues promptly.
Budget and Schedule Management:
Assist in developing and controlling project budgets.
Maintain detailed schedules to meet milestones.
Provide regular status updates to senior management.
Quality and Compliance:
Ensure activities comply with regulations and standards.
Conduct inspections and quality checks.
Address compliance or quality issues as they arise.
Stakeholder Communication:
Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
Facilitate meetings and updates.
Manage expectations and provide clear information on project progress.
Education
Master’s Degree in Engineering or Architecture.
Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in CAD software and design tools.
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to respond promptly to emergencies and issues.
Fluency in Italian and proficient English skills.
