Position Details:
The selected individuals will join a young and dynamic team, reporting to a technical manager. The main tasks performed by the team are as follows:
* Software requirements specification
* Software architecture and design
* Software safety analyses (FMEA, FTA)
* Embedded software implementation
* Software test specification and execution
The products to which the above-mentioned tasks apply are mainly control units and/or integrated circuits for automotive: braking system, steering, electric/thermal powertrain, sensors for ADAS/autonomous driving, etc.
The assigned activities will become increasingly stimulating as skills and autonomy grow.
Candidate Qualifications:
Preferred degree: Master's Degree in Mechatronic Engineering or related fields.
Candidates with different or lower qualifications (bachelor's degree or diploma) may also be considered if they have experiences or personal skills that compensate for the educational gap.
Additional desirable characteristics:
* Experience in programming microcontrollers
* Basic knowledge of SW design and SW testing
English: essential (minimum B2 level)
Driving license and availability/autonomy for travel: essential
Other Information:
The basic training provided for each new employee is related to the main reference regulations of the automotive sector: A-SPICE, ISO26262, ISO/IEC21434, TISAX/VDA. Any additional competencies required for the role will be acquired directly through work experience or courses (internal or provided by third parties) offered by the company.
Due to the specificity of our competencies, selected candidates will be required to be present at one of our locations; remote working is an option applicable only for staff who have already become autonomous. Availability for short business trips (normally up to a maximum of 5 working days), both to other company locations and to our clients' sites, is also required when necessary.
