Position
He/she has the task of carrying out Quality Control activities for electrical discipline.
Responsibilities
* Attend preliminary quality meetings at the Supplier's location.
* Record the results of inspection activities with a special Report.
* Check suppliers' ITPs (including procedures and instructions), also during site activities (if any).
* Follow up the inspection and test activities during the suppliers’ activities, through ITPs.
* Conduct inspections, final testing, and tests in accordance with documented procedures or standards/international codes.
* Notify, follow-up, support classification/analysis and verify the resolution of non-compliances and the implementation of changes.
Requirements
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technical secondary diploma.
* Three years of experience in inspection and testing activities.
* Two years of experience in the design, construction, installation, operation or maintenance of industrial plants will be considered as a plus.
* Knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard or equivalent.
* Knowledge of codes and standards in the field of: Diesel Generators, Cooling Water System, DCS, Heat exchangers, Compressors, valves, Medium and Low Voltage Switchboards and busbars.
* Certification as an expert in welding and/or non-destructive testing, for QC inspectors (only for Mechanicals).
* Preparation and verification of supply quality documentation and dossiers.
* Be proactive in suppliers’ management.
* Monitoring KPI and reporting.
* Ability to organize and plan inspections.
* Ability to evaluate the results of inspections.
* Proactive and problem-solving attitudes.
* Communication skills in relations with all parties involved in inspection activities.
