What You Can Expect?
The purpose of the role is to support the regulatory team by preparing documentation and getting involved in submissions of plant protection products and provide specific technical knowledge as to analyze and interpret data within the regulatory framework.
The Regulatory Specialist is a role reporting to the Italian Regulatory Affairs Manager, as a member of the European Regulatory Affairs Team.
Your responsibilities will be to:
* Assist in preparing and compiling regulatory documentation for the registration of plant protection products as a member of a project team.
* Support the submission of plant protection product applications (administrative, change of classification, mutual recognitions, art.51 and art.53) to regulatory authorities in Italy and Malta, ensuring compliance with relevant Local and European legislation.
* Develop relationships with regulatory authorities to facilitate submissions and approvals.
* Secure correct labelling (artwork), digital labelling, MSDS compliance, PCN notification and support maintenance of registrations.
* Represent ADAMA in relative official bodies, authorities and national associations.
* Keep internal databases up to date, and ensure proper storage of information.
* Support the Financial department in Regulatory quarterly cost reporting.
What We Expect
* Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Biology, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Toxicology, Environmental Science, or Regulatory Affairs or equivalent.
* Ideally 1-2 years of experience (or internship) in a regulatory or compliance role, preferably in the agricultural or plant protection industry or chemical industry.
* Familiarity with regulatory submission processes and requirements for plant protection products is preferred.
* Fluent English (written and spoken) is required.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Good communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills, including the ability to build effective working relationships.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
* Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
