Purpose of the Job
The Project Industrialization Engineer is responsible for industrializing the maintenance, renovation/modernization, or warranty activity at the Depot, Repair Centre, or Production site(s) to secure the production deliverables. The candidate will report hierarchically to the Industrial Manager and will collaborate with the Depot Managers and the local operational team, providing systematic assistance to depots under his responsibility located throughout the country.
Responsibilities
1. Define the Industrial documentation and processes
2. Lead the industrialization of technical documentation, respecting the Standard Manufacturing Process & Standard Manufacturing Line guidelines, footprint
3. Elaborate the required industrial deliverables: Macro-process, Work Instructions, implantation of the workstations, Bill of Material, Task Sequence and/or Standard Operations Sheet, Work Instructions, Method times, definitive Layouts.
4. Provide inputs to Industrial means and tools requirements for project execution activities
5. Implement the Project Make or Buy strategy in all deliverables
6. Define and implement the training plan related to industrial topics and to Special Processes
7. Validate on the field the industrial deliverables, tools and industrial means with maintenance execution (FAI)
8. Respect the Industrial Planning milestones (followed by the IMFU)
9. Understand and support the implementation of APSYS subjects related to Industrial Roadmap
10. Ensure Railway Safety and EHS, AZDP standards are respected
Availability to travel, mainly within the national territory, for at least 50% of the time is mandatory.
Educational Requirements
1. Technical education
2. IT literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Desired Knowledge / Experience
1. Industrial background with 2 to 5 years’ experience preferably in the railway industry
2. Technical background with 2 to 5 years’ experience preferably in the railway industry, ideally in an international organization
3. Ability to read and understand schematics and drawings
4. Technical experience of Methods Engineering, writing and improving manufacturing and/or maintenance work instructions, line balancing, Lean Manufacturing
5. Experience in working with an ERP (such as SAP) for Bill of Materials, Routings, Configuration follow-up
6. Working knowledge of Quality and Health & Safety standards and systems
7. Flexible and adaptable. Can adapt to new ideas and new issues
8. Able to execute the work autonomously, including all aspects of Methods Engineering
9. Conscientious. Meets proposed deadlines with the ability to work under pressure
10. Team player. Supports team members, Spirit of “Team Trust Action”
11. Desire to learn and develop
12. Decisive. Obtains and uses necessary information to make decisions. Refers decision to others when appropriate
