In your role as Restaurant Manager, you will be a hands-on, proactive, and enthusiastic leader, injecting your personality into your work and inspiring the team to deliver a warm and memorable guest experience. You will continually commit to the highest standards of service and operations, and working closely with the senior management team, you will be responsible for the overall performances of the Restaurant team, supporting the management in achieving the financial targets, assisting in recruitment and team development, stock management, and health and safety. You’ll provide a friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times to the highest standards, leading by example. You’ll build and maintain an efficient team of employees, driving the team towards the objectives of the business. You’ll develop a learning culture and to ensure that all team members feel valued and rewarded. You’ll manage all employees in line with the agreed skills and standards, giving regular feedback and reviews. You’ll ensure all guest requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively. You’ll follow the guidance and instructions given by leadership team, supported by the company’s standard operating procedures related but not limited to emergency and evacuation procedures, report any incidents, accidents or maintenance faults that may jeopardise guest or colleague’s satisfaction, health & wellbeing. Attends and completes all mandatory H&S training. You’ll effectively with both internal and external guests (including hotel colleagues) via written correspondence, phone, technology platforms and face to face. You’ll proactively upsells and promotes all hotel outlets (such as upselling, special events & VIP entertaining) as well as any related reward programs and you’ll actively supports in the development of internal & external marketing initiatives and displays a passionate approach towards the improvement of new method of services & concepts. You’ll create an imaginative and inspiring atmosphere with personalised service for each guest having an eye for detail and responding appropriately to guest, colleague and leadership feedback. You’ll provide leadership through leading by example, clearly communicating both operational & strategic information, ongoing customer feedback, ensuring team members are trained & developed, empowering your team and providing an inspiring service culture through briefings, team meetings, allocation of resources, micros, handovers and supervision of the team. You’ll Complete tasks relevant but not limited to guest & employee cycles in R&B outlets. You’ll be focused on delivering truly memorable experiences and is passionate about the R&B offering. You’ll take your cues from the guidance and instructions given by your leadership team. You’ll also be backed up by PPHE’s standard operating procedures.
