Engineering Planning and Control Officer
Location: Scandicci, Florence, Jimmy Choo Florence
Reports to: Technical Area Director
Direct Reports: none
Job Purpose:
The person in this role will be in charge of supporting the Engineering process in achieving and filing information to and from the JCF functions and the external manufacturers and suppliers. This position is a direct report to the Technical Area Director and will be involved with the daily activities of the Engineering Department. He/she will liaise with the R&D Raw Material Department, the Product Development, the Production Department in JC Florence, and with the external manufacturers and suppliers.
Main responsibilities include:
* To achieve and file all the necessary information for the engineering of each Collection.
* To provide the JCF departments with the Engineering information required.
* To support the Technical Team in their daily activities, closely following every issue related to the engineering of each Collection and ensuring resolution.
* To have frequent dealings with all JCF suppliers.
* To manage Engineering timelines.
* To manage masters of Third Workmanship.
Competencies and Experience Required:
* Accuracy and timekeeping in collecting and filing information.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Demonstrable skills in Microsoft Office, with particular reference to Excel.

* Self-confident and a good timekeeper.
* Able to manage relationships in a high-demanding environment.
* Successfully able to handle multiple demands and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Background, Skills, and Experience:
* Information Technology (Microsoft Office).
* Fluent in Italian and English.
* Understanding of luxury supply chain.
* Previous experience in managing the progress of the Engineering process.
* Degree in Fashion Management (preferable).
