As a Compliance Technical Specialist, you will work with a team of sales, technical, partner and consulting resources to educate and demonstrate the value of our data security solutions to our customers, empowering them to protect, govern, and safeguard their sensitive data while also managing regulatory compliance requirements and maintaining customer & employee privacy. Your main goal will be to win the technical decision of customers to purchase Microsoft data security solutions. Being part of this team will allow you to strengthen both your deep technical expertise as well as your consultative selling skills across Microsoft and non-Microsoft cloud native data security solutions, architectures, programs, and technologies. Responsibilities You will be the primary technical point of contact for potential customers during the sales process, owning and driving technical win for data security opportunities and engaging with other teams within and outside the organization throughout the sales cycle. You will leverage your deep technical understanding of Data Security architectures, solutions/technologies including Microsoft Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Insider Risk Management, Defender for Cloud Apps (CASB). You will coordinate weekly with sellers and manager to understand opportunities, compete scenarios and engagements to focus on, engaging and driving to own and win the technical decisions. You will remediate blockers, lead and ensure technical wins for Microsoft Security and adjacent technologies. Engages with and reaches out to customers proactively and independently and builds credibility with customers as a trusted advisor for Microsoft Security. You will develop strategies and recommendations to improve the client's data security posture, shape technical win plan and tailor Microsoft messaging to audience for security opportunities. You will lead technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, architecture design sessions, explain, demonstrate and architect the solution to help solve customer security challenges and priorities. You will demonstrate and oversee proof of concepts, present and apply architecture patterns, prove capabilities and integration into customer environment, and drive cross-workload support for Microsoft solutions for data security. Qualifications Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs): Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND a few years of technical pre-sales (security & compliance) or technical consulting experience (security & compliance) OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND a few years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience connected to security OR several years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience connected to security OR equivalent experience. Italian and English proficiency. Experience with cloud and hybrid, or on-premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management. Additional Or Preferred Qualifications (PQs) Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines (e.g., Office 365, Power BI, Azure Architect and Development exams, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture).
