To continue driving our mission forward, we are looking for a Chief Finance Officer to join our team What We Would Like You To Take Care Of About You: Fundraising and Investors’ Relations Research and fundraising: Identify funding opportunities through institutional funds, venture capital, private equity, angel investors, and strategic investors. Develop medium and long-term fundraising strategies, to secure capital flows in line with company growth. Expand the international network of contacts, focusing on key investors in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, and other high-potential countries. Pitching and presentations: To attract significant investments, prepare and present comprehensive business cases, including financial projections, performance metrics, and growth plans. Build compelling financial narratives communicating the company's value and potential to stakeholders. Networking: Establish and maintain strategic relationships with renowned funds, major entrepreneurs, and global institutional investors. Actively participate in conferences, roadshows, and meetings to promote company positioning and build strategic alliances. Financial Planning and Strategy for Rapid Growth Create dynamic financial models to support strategic planning, forecasting growth scenarios and capital requirements. Define investment priorities and resource allocation to maximize ROI and accelerate expansion. Monitor and optimize burn rate and runway to ensure long-term financial sustainability. Strategic Financial and Operational Strategy Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A): Conduct evaluations of acquisition opportunities and strategic partnerships, ensuring thorough due diligence and post-acquisition integration. Plan and implement exit strategies, including preparation for IPO or strategic acquisitions. Relations with Financial Institutions and Banks Establish strategic partnerships with financial institutions to ensure continuous access to credit lines and competitive financing. Negotiate advantageous terms for company liquidity and optimize cash flow to ensure operational stability. International Expansion Lead entry into new markets, ensuring company compliance with local financial and tax regulations. Manage hedging strategies to minimize foreign currency risks. What We Wish You’d Bring With Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A strong track record of identifying and securing diverse funding sources, including venture capital, private equity, angel investors, and strategic partners. Ability to raise significant capital through high-profile global relationships. Experience in capital management in key markets (USA, Europe). A solid understanding of mergers, acquisitions, and exit strategies. Experience implementing long-term financial vision. Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with global funds, banks, and investors. Communication skills: English and Italian, written and spoken (C1).
