For our Client, which has become a global player in the bakery ingredients sector, we are seeking for an Operations Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of the production processes, meeting safety, quality, and quantity standards, while overseeing the entire supply chain for all customers and contributes to the site’s medium- and long-term policy through participation in the Management Team and the corporate supply chain organization.
Main responsibilities:
Strategic part
* Proposes production and supply chain policies, draft investment proposals.
* Develops, executes, and adjusts the annual plan, including the budget, and intervene in case of deviations. • Prepares and presents management reports.
* Stays informed about relevant internal and external developments impacting business operations.
* Participates in the Management Team of the branch.
Production Capacity and Optimization
* Ensure optimal factory setup and logistics processes, including the allocation of machines, personnel, and resources.
* Oversee periodic maintenance and prepare investment proposals in collaboration with technical departments.
* Evaluates technical trends and implement improvement projects, promoting methodologies such as TPM and 5S.
* Supervises production and personnel planning, ensuring production is achieved within defined quality specifications.
Logistics and Supply Chain
* Designs and optimizes the logistics organization, including systems, procedures, and storage solutions.
* Ensures a reliable supply chain and effective inventory management to control inventory costs.
* Oversees the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and monitors planning processes to ensure optimal delivery reliability.
* Collaborates with quality control and procurement to align production and supply chain goals.
Reporting and Management Information
* Ensure accurate recording of goods flows and production processes.
* Provide management information and analyze deviations to enable timely adjustments. • Initiate research into additional information for further optimization of business
operations.
* Leadership and Personnel Management
* Leads staff by assigning tasks, motivating, coaching, and providing guidance as
necessary.
• Conducts performance and appraisal interviews and make recommendations for staff
training and compensation.
• Recruits, onboards, and supports new employees, while also managing personnel
matters.
Requirements:
* Technical degree
* 5/10 years of experience
* English proficiency is a must
