Country Manager / General Manager, India

Location: India (remote)
Compensation: base + commission (individual & team)
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
o Establish short, medium, and long-term company priorities and targets (financial and non-financial).
o Drive sales revenue and manage local team budgets and costs to ensure P&L accountability.
2. Team Development:
o Lead, mentor, and inspire sales teams (both leaders and individual contributors) to achieve sales targets.
o Conduct regular meetings to supervise progress and track action plans.
3. Collaboration and Communication:
o Work closely with internal stakeholders to secure resources for business development activities.
o Set clear goals and KPIs for each department, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
o Communicate changes in direction and company policies to all stakeholders in a timely manner.
4. Operational Excellence:
o Conduct periodic reviews of all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and spearhead enhancement projects.
o Research and analyze competitors and market trends to adjust business strategies as needed.
o Ensure all existing SOPs comply with regulatory provisions from relevant authorities.
Qualifications:
1. Experience:
o Minimum of 10 years in a management role within sales, focusing on the Indian/Southeast Asian market, with a strong record of driving sales growth and operational management in the financial sector, preferably in the FX industry.
2. Skills:
o Strong leadership capabilities to inspire and motivate sales teams.
o In-depth knowledge of the FX industry, market trends, and customer behavior.
o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for data-driven decision-making.
o Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
o Fluency in English.
