We are expanding our commercial team and seeking an Inside Sales & Business Development Specialist to help drive growth by identifying leads, qualifying opportunities, booking meetings, and acting as a key technical point of contact.
Role Overview
The Inside Sales & Business Development Specialist – Multiomics is responsible for:
* Identifying and scouting new leads to expand the sales pipeline
* Qualifying Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) to support revenue growth
* Booking meetings with key decision-makers in biotech, pharma, and healthcare
* Providing technical sales support, acting as the first point of contact for customer inquiries.
This role bridges sales and marketing, leveraging AI-powered tools for efficient outreach and lead conversion.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead Generation & Qualification
Research and identify potential customers in biotech, pharma, and healthcare.
Engage with inbound Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to assess their needs and qualify them into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customer pain points, industry trends, and competitor activities.
Book high-quality meetings with decision-makers and coordinate with the Sales Manager to advance opportunities.
Execute targeted sales campaigns in collaboration with marketing.
* Technical Sales Support
Serve as a technical point of contact for early-stage customer inquiries.
Clearly articulate the value of NEGEDIA’s multiomics, NGS, and molecular biology solutions.
Work closely with the Sales Manager and scientific team to align messaging with customer needs.
Track and manage all leads and opportunities in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
Analyze conversion rates and engagement trends to refine outreach strategies.
Provide regular sales insights to optimize lead generation efforts.
Who You Are
* Educational Background
* BSc / MSc / PhD in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related Life Sciences.
* Experience & Skills
2+ years in inside sales, business development, or lead qualification in biotech or life sciences.
Strong sales acumen with the ability to engage, qualify, and convert leads.
Experience in NGS, multiomics, or molecular diagnostics is a plus.
Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales funnel management.
Excellent English (written & spoken) — clear, concise, and professional communication.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize effectively, and work independently.
