Objective
Business partnering is a crucial part of the Finance manager job, in particular when it comes to providing the right analytics and empowering the business to make the best decisions.
Given the new opportunities that the company is experiencing in the Neuroscience area, we are looking for a committed professional to join our team and help us to drive advanced analytics in this new line of business.
Activities
The selected candidate will interact with the Neuroscience Business Unit Director and the broader cross-functional team in the following tasks:
1. Provide comprehensive financial support for the Neuroscience Business Unit
2. Cooperate in mid and long-term forecasting for Sales and OPEX
3. Provide relevant reporting (quantitative & qualitative) for their own area
4. Provide value-added financial analytics to support business initiatives and decisions
5. Fiduciary responsibility: support the business to be compliant to financial policies and procedures; maintain internal controls and compliance as relates to job responsibilities
Requirements
6. Experience in cross-functional work/projects and ability to influence business partners
7. Fluent in Italian and English
8. Analytical and presentation/communication skills
9. Ability to navigate ambiguity
10. Detail oriented but still able to see bigger picture
11. High level of initiative and willingness to challenge the status quo
12. Planning and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize
13. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Results
The candidate will gain a deeper understanding of the pharma industry, particularly how the finance function is supporting investment trade-off decisions with a data-driven approach. Furthermore, the candidate will expand his ability to deliver powerful analytics to the business, creating a strong financial modelling for revenues and market opportunities.
