Head of Sales Digital
This position is based in Bologna, Italy, offering a competitive compensation package with a €150,000 base salary plus 100% bonus (OTE €300,000).
This leading technology business is seeking an experienced Head of Sales Digital to lead its global digital sales strategy and drive revenue growth.
This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for managing a team of over 100 staff worldwide, with a focus on integrating innovative technologies into sales operations.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in digital sales, global team management, and customer engagement, combined with strong strategic and operational skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Global Digital Sales Strategy:
o Develop and execute comprehensive digital sales strategies to drive growth across software, hardware, and connected devices.
o Identify emerging trends in technology and digital ecosystems to maintain the company's competitive edge.
o Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with broader business objectives.
2. Revenue and Target Management:
o Own and exceed annual global digital sales targets across multiple regions and markets.
o Analyze sales performance metrics to optimise revenue generation and forecast quarterly/annual results.
o Lead, mentor, and manage a team of over 100 sales professionals across various international markets.
o Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and development programs to build a high-performing global sales team.
o Build and nurture long-term relationships with key global clients by understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
o Drive customer satisfaction through the effective implementation of digital solutions.
3. Market Expansion:
o Identify new business opportunities within the technology sector to expand market share globally.
o Represent the company at international industry events, trade fairs, and conferences to promote its digital offerings.
4. Operational Excellence:
o Ensure seamless integration of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) into daily operations for efficient pipeline management.
o Monitor competitor activities globally to refine sales tactics and maintain an edge in the market.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, or related fields; advanced degrees preferred.
* Proven experience in a senior digital sales role within the technology industry managing global teams.
* Strong knowledge of CRM tools, digital platforms, and consultative selling techniques.
* Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams across multiple regions.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities on a global scale.
