BACKGROUND Reporting directly to the Administrative Manager, the Resource will follow the regular bookkeeping of the company's accounts up to the preparation of the annual financial statements. MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Management of the active and passive cycle Assistance and knowledge of accounting entries of passive invoices received from both Italian and Intra and Extra EU suppliers Periodic tax obligations: assistance in the preparation of Intra forms, processing and transmission of self-invoices, periodic VAT settlements and support to the tax advisor for the preparation of VAT returns Support for Monthly closings of company financial statements and knowledge of the Main National Accounting Principles Monthly/quarterly reconciliations of balance sheet account balances Management of documentation required by statutory auditors and members of the Board of Statutory Auditors during audits Attention to monitoring internal control processes in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) regulations Preparation of administrative and corporate reporting to the Parent Company in compliance with the predefined timeline REQUIREMENTS Master's degree in economics and previous experience of at least 2 years in accounting at accounting firms or accounting firms Excellent knowledge of the asset and liability cycle Excellent knowledge of cost accounting Knowledge of the VAT discipline Excellent understanding of accounting data and knowledge of administrative and corporate documentation Pleasant knowledge of national (ITA GAAPP) and international (IAS IFRS) accounting standards Gradable knowledge of the basics of Consolidated Financial Statements Excellent knowledge of the office package (especially Excel) Professional knowledge of the English language Required problem solving skills to be applied to a dynamic environment that sometimes involves the ability to work under pressure J-18808-Ljbffr
