Job Description
We are looking for our production site in Aprilia (LT):
A Launch Manager
The main missions are:
1. Management of the launch activities: following the launch task part of the project review.
2. Run at rate preparation, tracking and action plan follow-up from GR4 to SOP + 6 months at the minimum (ramp-up phase).
3. Report of the run at rate activities (scrap, action plan, TRG, Labor rate, etc.).
4. Functional management and communication to the plant team on the project requirements.
5. Ensure plant standards through the program launch and ramp-up.
6. Ensure matching between customer needs and plant readiness (ramp-up plan, layout, Labor, tools & equipment).
7. Ensure the program launch and ramp-up standards implementation: VSM, Tool & Equipment readiness, work instructions, and GAP board implementation with all the standard data.
Profile
With a higher education in operations and industrialization, you have a solid command of the fundamentals of team management (mandatory), the principles of continuous improvement, and problem-solving tools.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related.
* 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
* 3+ years of launch experience.
* Customer-facing experience a plus.
* Experience launching a new automotive supply facility or major program a plus.
* Understanding of lean principles.
* Ability to collaborate effectively in a team within a demanding environment.
