Operations Manager – Global Business Unit Ports1961 is seeking an Operations Manager to join our Logistics and Operations Team in Milan. Key Responsibilities Day to Day of all the logistics’ flows Handling the IT tools and processes Managing budgets for Logistics and IT Departments Analyzing operational data and optimize staffing and production capacity Analyzing the current business operations and processes to identify the bottlenecks and inefficiencies Maintaining a working knowledge of the industry including challenges and opportunities in the sector Working closely with other Heads of Departments (Finance, Merchandising, HR, Wholesale and HQ Logistics) to improve efficiency Designing new processes to improve the quality or increase productivity and profitability Working closely with the executive team to align operational strategies with business goals Collaborating with IT teams to implement systems that enhance logistics performance, shorten delivery times and improve customer satisfaction Planning and executing the ERP transition/migration Implementing a Customer Service team for Wholesale clients Qualifications & Skills Minimum 5-7 years of experience in logistics, preferably within the fashion industry. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Proactive mindset with a problem-solving attitude.
