Job Summary
Within Finance & Supplier Management, the Supplier Management team is responsible for sourcing, contracting, and managing the supplier base for Tetra Pak Processing and Packaging Solutions. Our responsibilities include developing purchasing capabilities, managing suppliers directly, and creating Global Purchasing Category Strategies. Additionally, Supplier Management supports all Processing Solutions & Equipment projects and installations, ensuring the seamless delivery of integrated offerings.
We are looking for an experienced Supplier Manager to join the Tanks and Vessels Category Team within Equipment Projects and Services (EP&S). This is a pivotal role in leading the Tanks and Vessels Category, where you will shape and lead the global category strategy.
A Supplier Manager who can work independently while closely collaborating with business stakeholders and the Supplier Management community across the entire organization.
The role involves proactive supplier relationship management, a strong business understanding and continuous improvements initiatives.
The position is preferably based in Modena or Lund but you will work in a Global arena.
What You Will Do
As a Supplier Manager, you will work closely with our business stakeholders, various supplier management functions, and suppliers.
Your Primary Focus Will Include
* Secure supply and performance in terms of quality, delivery, and cost for the overall category.
* Design the category strategy for a global category.
* Have end-to-end category responsibility and secure early involvement with business stakeholders representing Supplier Management.
* Develop and maintain relationships and take a business partnering approach towards key stakeholders.
* Driving performance improvements with a focus on quality, cost, and lead time.
We believe you have
* A university degree in Engineering or Economics, with at least 5 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management within an international, global context.
* Previous experience in a Supplier Management function within the food packaging industry, which will be considered an advantage.
* Demonstrated ability to apply strong negotiation skills and innovative approaches to supplier base development.
* A previous experience in shaping the strategy of a global category will be considered a plus.
* A solid level of commercial, relational, and negotiation skills.
* Demonstrated leadership skills, communication skills, and change management skills.
* Ability to break silos and work effectively as a team player, driving change through informal leadership.
* Excellent proficiency in English.
* Exceptional organizational skills, ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and a strong drive to improve team efficiency and productivity.
