Our Software House Line (SHL) supports the digital transformation process of banks and insurance companies through the development of products able to analyze ever-increasing amounts of data of various types. In addition, characteristics such as scalability, resilience, and ability to evolve are paramount requirements for the success of a project or product.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop robust and scalable Python code to implement back-end application components for an analytics platform
* Participation in continuous improvement of production processes and technology innovation
* Participation in analysis sharing, problem solving, technical analysis, implementation, testing and documentation activities as part of development projects assigned to the team
* Application of Lean and Agile practices
* Join a dynamic and motivated environment, within an established and specialized team
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree with excellent grades in economics, finance, statistics or engineering disciplines and solid quantitative knowledge
* Experience gained and/or skills developed in the ESG risk management field, with particular focus on data collection and data management, measurement, analysis and reporting
* Thorough knowledge of package (mandatory eExcel, PowerPoint, Word), nice to have programming languages skills (e.g. Python)
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent
* Knowledge of Python for back-end product development
* Familiarity with TDD practices, Unit Testing, Continuous Integration
PREFERRED SKILLS:
* Knowledge of Pandas, NumPy and SciPy frameworks
* Knowledge in managing/modeling NO-SQL databases (MongoDB), knowledge of technologies and languages in Big Data/ML, Docker/Kubernetes, distributed architecture and/or microservices
SOFT SKILLS:
* Communication and management skills
* Aptitude for problem solving and proposing solutions
* Organization and data processing
* Excellent knowledge of the English language
