UL Solutions is seeking a passionate and strategic leader to lead the sales function of Engineered Materials. Reporting directly to the Engineered Materials Vice President, General Manager, this person will be accountable for core business growth (Wire and Cable, Materials, and Plastics) and accelerating revenue growth driven by three mega-trends: 1. Energy transition, 2. Electrification of vehicles, 3. Sustainability and circularity.
The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:
* Intellectual curiosity - asking the right questions is probably just as important as developing the answers in these fast-moving market opportunities.
* Results driven - as we continue to penetrate new market verticals such as automotive and utilities, the leader will need to align and engage stakeholders (internal and external) across many parts of the value chain.
* Customer focus - have a strong network in the engineered material space and excel at conducting discovery conversations with senior clients.
* Process and investment discipline - effectively manage the sales process and the associated investment pipeline keeping stakeholders (leadership, staff, customers) appropriately aligned and engaged.
