A global fintech leader in trading, risk management and processing solutions for capital markets is working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire an IT End Support Officer for their Nicosia offices. The successful candidate must be holder of university degree and have up to 5 years of working experience. Also, the successful candidate will be responsible to provide support to the company employees who are working in the Cyprus Office and remote, by responding to their inquiries via the ticketing system, phone or chat, identifying and analysing problems and providing workarounds to customers. 1. Install, configure, and upgrade windows operating systems and softwares installed on the end-users’ workstations.
2. Install and replace hardware (Workstations, Laptops, screens, network cable, etc.).
3. Troubleshoot incidents and problems related to emails, network and end-users’ peripherals, printing, meeting rooms, access control, CCTV, etc.
4. Follow cases with support vendors.
5. Support Teams telephony, mobile devices, and smartphones for end-users.
6. Maintain User Account in Active Directory, disk encryption and antivirus.
7. Assist users with Citrix and VPN connectivity.
8. Participate in the creation of documentation to ease the work for the operation team.
9. Follow procedures and guidelines defined for the team.
10. Collaborate with other IT teams (network, storage, Windows Infra, etc.) to resolve incidents when needed.
11. Flexibility in covering support shift.
12. Participate in discussions and presentations to evolve the infrastructure.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
13. Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a closely related field is a must
14. Up to 5 years of experience in service desk support for windows ecosystem, software, and hardware troubleshooting for end users.
15. Relevant experience Endpoint management systems like SCCM, Microsoft windows 10-11 and Office 365
16. Experience in the usage of service desk ticketing system to handle incidents and requests.
17. Strong analytical skills and efficient problem solving
18. Willingness to learn continuously.
19. Fluency in Greek and English, both written and verbal. Fluency in French will be considered an advantage.
20. Good Communication skills to be able to present ideas and communicate with vendor support.
21. Flexible to travel abroad twice or three times per year.
