PURCHASING SPECIALIST (ART 1, LAW 68/99)

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Specialist to join our team in our office near Treviso, Italy, which supports the right to work for individuals with disabilities. In this role, you will be managing the procurement of materials and components necessary for our manufacturing processes. Your work will ensure that our production lines have the resources they need to deliver high-quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities may include:
1. Supplier Management
Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and components.
2. Order Processing
Manage purchase orders from creation to delivery, ensuring accuracy in quantity, pricing, and delivery timelines.
3. Inventory Control
Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply.
4. Quality Assurance
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure that all purchased materials meet the required specifications and standards.
5. Documentation
Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier contracts.
6. Market Research
Stay informed about market trends, new products, and potential suppliers to continuously improve the purchasing process.
7. Compliance
Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
Requirements:
8. Degree in a related field or relevant experience
9. Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
10. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize purchasing processes.
11. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing orders and documentation.
12. Proactive in identifying issues and finding solutions to ensure smooth procurement operations.
13. Proficiency in Italian; knowledge of English is a plus.
