RINA is currently recruiting for a North Italy Welding & Pressure Equipments Lead Auditor to join its office in Milan, Italywithin the Italy Certification Operations Division.
Mission
This role focuses on planning, managing and conducing the certification process of Pressure Equipment/manufacturer, metal welders and welding procedures, according to American or European codes. The area of competence will be mainly Lombardia. #LI-MB4
Key Accountabilities
1. Organize and conduct inspections as Autorized Inspector for RINA Services (ASME Inspection Agency)
2. Organize and conduct inspection and certification activity related to Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2024/68/EU)
3. Organize and conduct welding qualificaton sessions at client's premises with reference to EN ISO, ASME and AWS standards
Qualifications
4. Degree or diploma in technical/scientific field
5. +5 years of specific experience in welding coordination and pressure equipment inspection
6. Experience in managing certification as ASME AIA or ASME Certificate Holder
7. Have a valid ASME commission card, to be transferred to RINA Services AIA, will be a preferential title
8. Welding Engineer/Technologist or equivalent qualification, will be a preferential title
9. Knowledge of EN/ISO/ASME/AWS reference standards
10. Knowledge of the main non-destructive testing methods
11. Knowledge of English & Italian languages
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering GeneralHigh School Diploma/GED
