YOUR ROLE
For our Automotive Processing & RF Division's SW IPs & Tools Team, we are seeking a Software/Firmware Engineer with expertise in embedded software development and integration, particularly in relation to automotive functional safety and ISO26262 standard.
The candidate will investigate software safety application solutions by transforming technical safety requirements into software requirements and implementing them in adherence with automotive quality standards. This will be specifically for SoCs within the Processing & RF Division's MCU (Real-time cores) product line.
The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring Autosar compliance, working closely with the MCAL team. This role involves interactions with the Application and Design teams, as well as the divisional Marketing team, to clearly define and verify that the safety package aligns with market trends and competitive standards.
The candidate shall also contribute to the maintenance, enhancement, and upgrade of the existing SW IPs as well as provide support to customers for his own area of competences.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
We're looking for an Electronic Engineer, Telecommunications engineer or Computer Engineer with the following requirements:
* Valuable experience from 5 to 10 years in the specific technical field
* Good programming skills in C is mandatory
* Good Knowledge of ISO26262 standard
* Experience in development/Integration of safety software requirements, safety applications, and toolchains.
* Knowledge of commercial Autosar configuration tools (TresOS Studio, Da Vinci, etc...)
* Good knowledge of ARM based platforms is a plus
* Skill with HW debuggers (e.g. Lauterbach Trace32, Segger J-Link, PLS etc...) and other analysis tools, such as USB analyzers and similar is a plus
* Customer Support driven attitude
* Knowledge of automotive interfaces and protocols is a plus
* Motivation to work in multi-site & multi-cultural projects context
* Automotive Spice SW Quality knowledge is a plus.
