In our team Audio Features in Product Development Audio Systems, DSP tasks are:
1. Design and development of SW modules in accordance with SW architecture and requirements.
2. Development of DSP SW for audio signal processing.
3. Research, development, and implementation of algorithms according to customer requirements or market/company vision needs.
4. Create documentation of developed SW according to company standards.
5. Perform reviews and tests of developed modules.
6. Give technical support to customers.
7. Support setting up demo cars.
Constraints:
1. Implementation has to follow ASK coding styles.
2. Usage of defined SW development tools.
3. Implementation sequence has to follow the SW release plan set up by project PL.
Required: A Master degree in Computer/Telecommunication/Sound Engineering.
Skills Required:
1. Knowledge about embedded programming languages (C, C++).
2. Knowledge about audio and media formats, music/sound technology, and audio algorithms (filters, surround sound, etc.).
3. Knowledge about DSP evalboard systems (e.g., demo setup by evalboard).
4. Knowledge about Mathworks SW (Matlab & Simulink).
5. Knowledge about scripting programming language (Python).
6. Knowledge in acoustical and electrical audio measurement.
7. Knowledge about high-level programming languages (C#).
8. Ability to effectively perform brainstorming and problem solving.
9. Ability to work in a team and to give presentations.
10. Knowledge of the English language.
11. Travel availability in foreign branches.
Responsibilities:
The DSP Software Engineer is responsible for writing embedded code, especially for digital signal processors. They are responsible for writing the code according to ASK software standards. They are responsible for the research and development of new algorithms.
