The Communication and Event Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing all aspects of company events, both internal and external. This role also involves managing and coordinating communication strategies to enhance the company's visibility and brand image.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event Planning and Management:
o Plan and execute corporate events, workshops, and other promotional events.
o Coordinate all event logistics, catering, transportation, and accommodations.
o Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
o Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure best rates and services.
o Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees.
o Conduct post-event evaluations to determine success and areas for improvement.
2. Communication Strategy:
o Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans to promote events and company initiatives.
o Create engaging content for various platforms, including social media, websites, newsletters, and press releases.
o Manage media relations, including drafting and distributing press releases, and coordinating interviews.
o Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels.
3. Stakeholder Coordination:
o Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and HR, to ensure cohesive communication strategies.
o Liaise with external partners, and stakeholders to foster strong relationships and support for events.
4. Brand Management:
o Maintain and enhance the company’s brand image through strategic communication and event initiatives.
o Ensure all communication materials and events align with the company’s brand guidelines and values.
* Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
* Minimum of 6 years of experience in event planning and communication roles.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organizational and project management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with graphic design and multimedia content creation.
* Familiarity with event management and CRM systems.
* Knowledge of SEO and content marketing strategies.
