LivaNova is hiring a Senior SW Verificaton Engineer for Web Application for the Team based in Mirandola (MO).
The SW Verification Engineer for Web application is responsible for the Verification and compliance of the Essenz Perfusion Monitor and Data Management applications.
Join LivaNova and follow its innovation roadmap through the Cardiopulmonary area, where the new Essenz Perfusion System supports the perfusionists and the entire heart team in delivering truly patient-centric perfusion therapies and continuously improve clinical practice.
You can be part of a success story, following new features and algorithms development for the new Essenz Patient Monitor application that allows detailed recording and processing of perfusion data during cardiopulmonary bypass procedures.
Responsibilities:
1. Analyze SW requirements and specifications for testability, also providing inputs to these two streams
2. Defining the applicable test scenarios for each SW requirement and functionality to be tested
3. Maintain test records with test results
4. Review and report anomaly
5. Define the adequate test environment including browsers and network infrastructures
6. Design Test Protocols
7. Design Validation test procedures
8. Define test strategies for complex functionality including identification of the adequate test environment
Requirements:
9. Master’s degree in computer science, or Biomedical Engineering, or Software Engineering
10. Fluency in English is a must
11. Consolidated experience (5+ years) in SW testing of Web based applications
12. SW requirement engineering capabilities: the candidate shall be capable to analyze SW requirements, understand the context of the specific requirement within the application, confirm that the requirements are suitable for testing and propose improvements if needed. The candidate shall be also capable to write SW Requirements
13. The candidate shall be capable to define the adequate scenarios and test paths to be run in order to have a full coverage of the test for the specific functionality, including non-regression analysis.
14. Capability to report test activities in Azure DevOps environment using the related work items
15. Capability to report anomaly, interacting with the developers to provide analysis of log files
16. Capabilities to design Test procedure with the goal to verify SW requirements
17. ISTQB certification or equivalent
18. Knowledge of SQL server Database
19. Knowledge of fundamentals of Web based application architecture
20. Very good knowledge of IT infrastructure and security best practices (Firewalls, Proxy, User access management, Antivirus etc)
21. Optional: experience in Agile environments
22. Desire to constantly learn new things and improve skills
23. Open to work in a challenging environment
