Job Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
1. Control Plan Improvement and SAP management.
2. Carry out supplier validation audits, with supplier support and supplier advanced product quality planning (APQP).
3. Work with Engineering (Design and Manufacturing Engineers) team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure supplier process capability is effective to meet product and process requirements.
4. Support new product launches to ensure that supplier quality meets the required standards.
5. Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues.
6. Perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of correction actions of supplier quality issues.
7. Collate and evaluate supplier quality data to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain.
8. Work with the supplier directly, create correction action plans to address process failures.
9. Promote the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Lean, Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), Measurement System Analysis, and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
10. Provide concise, complete, and accurate documentation of inspection results relative to area of responsibility. In appropriate functional areas, this refers to supporting inspection and test status requirements defined by regulations, engineering product specifications or Control Plans, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) approval or product warrant submission.
11. Support the Quality Manager to monitor and report on supplier product quality and performance.
12. Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in order to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process or system.
13. Assist with first off sample approvals.
14. Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products or changes related to current products in meeting customer requirements.
15. Manage and coordinate supplier (PPM), supplier problem solving on time, cost recovery and supplier warranty indicators.
16. Write reports and present progress at project meetings and to clients.
Job Profile
Qualifications, Knowledge:
1. University Degree in Electrical Engineering or alternatively Mechanical Engineering with good basic knowledge in electronics.
2. Basic know-how in the quality management norm ISO 9001.
3. FMEA – basic.
4. Professional Supplier Management.
Skills, Capabilities, Competencies:
1. Very good English language skills, spoken and written.
2. Very high level of communication, cooperation and negotiation skills.
3. Project management skills with focus on all aspects, such as quality, costs and timing.
4. Comprehensive know-how in the area of quality management and the application of standards and tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, APQP, FMEA, Risk Analysis; ISO9001, Audits.
5. Solution-oriented mindset.
6. Precise workmanship and high quality awareness.
