Maritime & Healthcare Group (MHG) is seeking experienced and dynamic Spa Nurses on behalf of our esteemed cruise line client.
The Spa Nurse will play a key role in supporting the onboard wellness team, delivering high-quality health and beauty services while ensuring safety, guest satisfaction, and compliance with maritime medical standards.
Previous cruise ship experience in a similar role is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct guest consultations and pre-treatment assessments for wellness and spa services.
- Support the delivery of specialized treatments, including IV therapies, vitamin injections, non-invasive rejuvenation procedures, and wellness therapies.
- Monitor and ensure guest safety during and after treatments, coordinating with the ship’s medical team when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and confidential guest treatment records, adhering to GDPR, HIPAA, and company policies.
- Collaborate with the Spa Manager to promote wellness programs and guest education initiatives.
- Assist with the daily operations of the spa, including scheduling, product recommendations, and workshop facilitation.
- Comply with all maritime health, safety, and infection control standards.
- Represent the spa and the cruise line’s wellness philosophy with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current and valid license in home country (mandatory).
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience, preferably within wellness, aesthetic, dermatology, or spa sectors.
- Previous cruise ship experience as a Spa Nurse or Medi-Spa Nurse is required.
- Certification in IV Therapy, Phlebotomy, or Aesthetic Nursing is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and guest service skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are considered an asset).
- Possession of a valid passport, current seafarer medical certificate (or willingness to obtain), STCW certificates, C1/D Visa, Seaman's book.
