We’re looking for a Certification & Compliance Engineer to join the Engineering Department to contribute to the Certification & Compliance Engineering office activities. The Certification & Compliance Engineer will be in-charge of analyzing international product and system standards (e.g. IEC, UL, IEEE, NFPA, AS, UNI, CEI EN, etc.) on:
* Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) with lithium-ion technology;
* Power Converter System (PCS) and Low voltage cabinet;
* Power transformer and Medium voltage cabinet;
* Auxiliary system as fire fighting and HVAC.
Tasks and Duties:
* International product and system standard study, analysis and application;
* Preparation of technical documentation (guidelines, test reports and technical dossier);
* Test bench preparation and support;
* To perform measurement with laboratory instrumentations;
* Coordination with external laboratory and certification body;
* EMC, safety and grid code requirements;
* Risk analysis on BESS products and systems (e.g. SWIFT, HAZID and HAZOP);
* Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM study), FMEA, FMECA, FTA on BESS;
* Support to tech-sales team in preparing technical documents for BID submission regarding the standard compliance;
* To follow the execution projects from the preliminary design to the system certification (e.g. IEC 62933-5-2 and UL 9540);
* To follow the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) activities on BESS products and systems;
* To design and develop new products working with the R&D team according to international standard up to product certification;
* Preparation of technical documentation related to automatic fire detection, fire suppression and fire alarm systems.
Requirements:
* Bachelor and Master Degree in Electrical Engineering;
* An internship experience is appreciated;
* Basic knowledge of renewable energy technology;
* Good english knowledge (other languages are considered a plus).
