Description
To oversee all IT needs in all iLUKA offices and venues on the Client Programme, pre-event and onsite.
We will have roles starting after June 2025. These will be contract roles through to March 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure that all members of iLUKA staff have a properly configured and working computer that allows them to carry out their roles as efficiently as possible.
* Set up networks in iLUKA satellite office for event time delivery.
* Continuously monitor users' computers to ensure that they are working efficiently and securely.
* Ensure all IT security policies are rigorously enforced at all times.
* Implement all necessary security measures to protect the systems and data of iLUKA.
* Ensure all printers are fully operational and that spare consumables are always available.
* Ensure the company telephone system is working efficiently and that the internal directory is up to date.
* Responsible for the distribution, collection, and monitoring of all mobile telephones. Monitor usage patterns and investigate any cost-saving measures.
* Where required, assist iLUKA's clients and contractors with their IT needs.
* Organise event time radios.
This is not an exhaustive list, and all team members will be expected to contribute to any other aspects of the business as necessary.
Skills, Knowledge, Expertise:
* Fluent in Italian and English.
* Understanding of the urgency required in responding to time-sensitive situations.
* Proactive approach to providing the highest level of service to the operational team.
* Previous experience of working on overseas events and conferences or the setting up of temporary satellite offices would be beneficial.
* Knowledge and understanding of LAN administration in a secure environment.
* Knowledge of a range of network systems, protocols, and applications.
* Ability to determine computer problems and to coordinate hardware and/or software solutions.
* Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
* Excellent knowledge of Windows, Exchange, Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, backup solutions, DHCP, WINS, SNMP, DNS, Active Directory, and SANs.
* Experience of configuring smartphones.
* Experience of installation and maintenance of SQL Server and IIS Servers.
* Must have practical experience and expertise in both network and server security.
* Cisco networking experience would be beneficial.
