INEOS Acetyls is a global leader in the production of Acetic Acid, Acetic Anhydride, Ethyl Acetate and Vinyl Acetate. Operating from nine manufacturing locations worldwide, we supply critical materials to industries ranging from pharmaceuticals to coatings and packaging. As part of our growth strategy, we are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager (m/f/d) to drive commercial success in Italy and for selected European accounts.
The Position
As a Sales Manager (m/f/d), you will be part of the Commercial leadership team and responsible for managing key customer relationships, developing new business opportunities and maximizing profitability in your region. You will play a crucial role in contract negotiation, pricing strategy, business development and customer engagement, ensuring our business remains competitive and aligned with evolving sustainability requirements.
What you will do:
* Sales & Business Development: Develop our regional strategy, grow existing accounts and identify new opportunities across your region.
* Contract & Account Management: Negotiate supply agreements, oversee contract compliance and enhance customer satisfaction.
* Market & Competitor Analysis: Stay ahead of market trends, competitor strategies and customer applications.
* Financial Performance & Forecasting: Deliver accurate sales and pricing forecasts, ensuring profitability and growth.
* Sustainability & Customer Collaboration: Work closely with the sustainability team to align with customer needs and market expectations.
What you will bring:
* Education & Experience: Degree in Business, Chemistry or related field with proven sales experience in the chemical industry.
* Languages: Fluency in English and Italian (additional languages are a plus).
* Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation, contract management and business development skills.
* Technical & Analytical Skills: Ability to understand chemical applications, pricing strategies and market economics.
* Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel 50-80% to customer sites, manufacturing locations and corporate offices.
Location: The Sales Manager (m/f/d) will work remotely out of Italy.
