Overview
Element has an opportunity for a Business Development Manager (BDM) with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience, who is eager to learn and work in the TIC/Energy sector. Together with our enthusiastic sales team, you will contribute to the ongoing development and professionalization of the commercial side of our business in Italy. Our Italian customers are mainly in the Energy (Oil & Gas) industry.
As BDM, you will drive growth both within our current customer base and new prospects, improve customer satisfaction even further, drive productivity, and achieve and exceed Element’s sales objectives. Reporting to the Business Development Director, you will collaborate with our Italian sales team and the wider international Element sales group. The role will be based in Crema.

Responsibilities
In your role, you will be required to:
* Establish and proactively maintain a strong professional relationship with key decision makers and influencers within assigned accounts.
* Drive profitable sales expansion with a focus on acquiring new customers and re-engaging with dormant accounts.
* Analyze market and industry information and trends to determine customer needs and identify opportunities early in the sales cycle to ensure maximum share of wallet for Element.
* Follow up in a timely manner on quotations, work closely with other sales team members, and utilize technical support to maximize the sales realized in the territory.
* Identify full customer test needs to uncover additional opportunities within accounts across Element.
* Actively utilize CRM to record activities, ensure all CRM records are up to date, and critical success factors are identified for key opportunities.
* Build and maintain a working knowledge of Element’s service offerings; participate in training/coaching opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with all Element policies including but not limited to Terms and Conditions and adherence to all applicable regulations.
Skills / Qualifications
* Sales experience, minimum of 5 years, preferably within the TIC/energy sector.
* Ability to interact with customers, win new work, and determine their requirements; develop proposals including cost estimates, work plans, and terms and conditions.
* Ability to draft and interpret documents such as customer quotes/contracts, marketing materials, and customer testing specifications.
* Fluent in both Italian and English, in writing as well as verbally.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Dynamics AX and CRM, Word, Excel).
* Ability to remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple priorities.
* Willing to travel up to 75% of the time within Italy but on occasion also internationally (Mainland Europe / UK).
