About the position
You will be a part of a team located in Italy and work closely with both technical support function and inside sales, reporting to Area Sales Manager in Italy. You will have access to an extensive product portfolio that can support a diverse customer base. You have the responsibility to develop direct and indirect sales together with our technical support function. Since our production sites are in Finland you will frequently travel there.
The position drives the strategic development and expansion of the Sales market for Tubes in the region. It includes developing new customers, segments, and applications, as well as upgrading existing and new customers to more advanced materials. You will also support other Regional Sales Managers when they are selling tubes to their customers in Italy and neighboring countries. Extensive traveling is a part of this role!
Main responsibilities
* Develop strategic goals for the area, secure yearly sales and marketing targets.
* Participate in marketing actions and visit workshops and end-users on a regular basis. You will analyze and develop the strategy to increase end-user reach.
* You will independently set up sales representations, contracts, proposals and negotiate offers, prices and other terms.
* Document your key activities in our customer relationship management system Salesforce. Usually, you have several customer meetings per week and then do a follow-up, together with reporting and planning.
* You will also coordinate your work with an international team dedicated to tubes.
About You
* To succeed in this role you preferably have a first Sales experience after your graduation, preferably with OEMs.
* Technical or Engineer education is a plus.
* You have the strategic ability to see the whole picture where you can clarify the business and the way forward and feel comfortable in delivering presentations to internal colleagues and external customers.
* Professional working skills in Italian and English are required. French language optional.
