Regional Sales Manager – Central & Eastern Europe
Location: Home based with European travel.
About Us: This role will be responsible for our Champion Compressor range for regions across central and eastern Europe. Champion offers a wide range of affordable compressed air products, using various technologies including rotary screw, piston, vane, scroll, and portable. Champion is considered an entry-level range within the Compressor Division, with products manufactured at our factory in Lonate, Italy.
Job Summary: The main purpose of this role is to drive sales of the Champion range across their region.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategies to achieve short-, medium-, and long-term budgeted sales and margin in line with business objectives.
* Manage and develop Equipment and Aftermarket sales.
* Review and maintain constant analysis of competitors' portfolio and positioning to inform product strategy and provide recommendations to adjust the selling strategy of our products.
* Manage the commercial position of the Company in its market, balancing market share growth and margin improvement.
* Manage pricing and negotiate prices for new business within set parameters to achieve budgets and Company plans.
* Promote the company/brand across the region.
* Represent the company with customers and elsewhere as needed, making visits as necessary.
* Proactively anticipate and identify potential issues affecting the business and take corrective action or make recommendations as necessary.
* Identify, win, and manage new accounts, build relationships, and ensure revenue and margin growth.
Basic Qualifications:
* Full Driving Licence
* Technical qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and/or in business or sales-related area is preferred.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
* Proven experience of sales management skills is essential.
* Technical sales experience in the compressor or similar industry is beneficial.
* Proficient in MS Office and SAL is essential.
* Leadership and management skills are desirable.
* High level of commercial awareness is essential.
* English language proficiency is a must.
