Responsibilities
1. Controls and organizes incoming and outgoing goods flows: manages the supply of raw materials and the distribution of finished products.
2. Plans production according to customer demand and safety stock.
3. Manages budget and production costs; negotiates favorable rates for the purchase of goods and their distribution or shipment.
4. Establishes cost budgets for each activity, minimizing shipping costs, and creating favorable and lasting relationships with suppliers, distributors, and retailers.
5. Leads and monitors KPIs of all logistics processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency according to management goals and targets.
6. Leads and coordinates logistics processes continuous improvement according to Business System.
7. Establishes and monitors Supply Chain budget and standard KPIs in line with company guidelines.
8. Uses reports and metrics to analyze opportunities for savings and improvements, shipment frequencies & issues, claims issues, and customer/supplier routing efficiencies.
9. Synchronizes activities and works cross-functionally with other departments to understand internal and external customer needs to ensure the delivery of the best customer service level.
Education
1. Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Background
