The Data Analyst role that supports Everyday Digital involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to provide actionable insights that support business decision-making. The role is essential for driving data-driven strategies and improving organizational performance across Zone/GMBs/functions to support our Everyday Digital program and Winning with People and Teams OMP priority.
A Day in the Life of a Business Analyst – Data Analyst for Everyday Digital
1. Data Collection: Gather data from various sources, including databases, surveys, and external datasets, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
2. Data Cleaning and Preparation: Clean and preprocess data to eliminate inconsistencies, errors, and missing values, making it suitable for analysis.
3. Data Analysis: Utilize statistical methods and analytical tools to analyze complex data sets, identifying trends, patterns, and correlations.
4. Reporting and Visualization: Create comprehensive reports and visualizations (e.g., charts, graphs) to present findings clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
5. Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Tracking: Monitor and evaluate KPIs to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with Analytics, Data & Integration team (ADI) to build operationally sustainable analytic solutions.
7. Decision Support: Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making processes.
8. Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analysis processes for transparency and reproducibility.
9. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing data collection and analysis processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
10. Data Governance: Ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards, safeguarding data integrity and confidentiality.

• Technical Skills:
* Data Analysis Tools: Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
* Data Visualization: Experience with visualization tools like Power BI, or similar to present data insights effectively.
