Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization? As the Regional HR Business Partner (HRBP) for Operations EMEA, you'll be at the heart of our strategic initiatives, driving talent management, employee engagement, organizational design, and effectiveness. You'll collaborate closely with regional leaders (typically at the Director or VP level) and be a key member of the regional leadership team. This role demands strategic thinking and action to achieve both short-term and long-term business objectives while providing the HR Service Delivery organization with essential insights for effective local execution.
Preliminary requirements: you have experience in the manufacturing sector, on an international scope and in a matrix company.
This role is a Hybrid role (3 days on site) and can be located in Italy, Spain, Poland, UK, or Czechia close to one major PPG location.
Your key responsibilities
* Organization Development & Effectiveness (30%)
o Design and implement organizational solutions to execute the approved strategy by segment, market, and region.
o Adjust organizational structures to meet cost reduction requests and ensure effectiveness through continuous monitoring and optimization.
o Engage with the business to identify necessary capabilities and develop them through strategic recruiting and skills enhancement.
* Workforce Planning (30%)
o Identify opportunities for organizational streamlining in alignment with strategic goals.
o Develop headcount forecasts by consulting with leaders and considering various business initiatives.
o Ensure data accuracy and timely population of templates with relevant commentary.
* Capability Building (25%)
o Coach leaders on effective performance processes and ensure calibrated decisions that reflect actual contributions.
o Ensure job descriptions for senior-level roles align with business imperatives and participate in the interviewing process.
o Deploy talent assessments and facilitate engagement sessions to support talent development.
* Commercial and Operational Excellence (15%)
o Build Commercial Excellence capabilities and advance Operational Excellence within the SBU.
o Review and enhance Sales Incentive Plans in collaboration with key business leaders.
What You Bring to the Role:

Your Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
* Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in complex, interdependent, and matrixed organizations, with a focus on industrial manufacturing. At least 10 years of HR leadership experience in international settings, encompassing all facets of human resources. Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic HR initiatives that contribute to business growth. A minimum of 5 years in an HR leadership role within a large-scale region or division.
* Business Acumen: A strong business partner mindset with a proven track record of effective collaboration with business leaders to drive results.
* Crisis Management: Experience in managing HR functions during crises, ensuring business continuity and employee well-being.
* International Experience: Proven ability to work across diverse countries and regions, with a comprehensive understanding of regional labor laws and HR practices.
