Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and organized Legal Specialist to join our Legal Affairs team in Milan. The role focuses on corporate secretarial duties, contract review and negotiation, and supporting the management of international branches. The ideal candidate will also contribute to legal activities related to public tenders, compliance, and document management.
Key Responsibilities
* Support corporate secretarial activities and governance procedures.
* Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts, including EPC/EPCM, subcontracting, supply, consultancy, framework agreements, JV/Consortia, NDAs, and MoUs.
* Provide legal assistance in the management and coordination of international branches and legal entities.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams on compliance and regulatory matters.
* Provide legal support during public and private tenders, including documentation checks and contract analysis.
* Assist in the update and implementation of internal legal policies and compliance frameworks.
Requirements
* Master’s Degree in Law.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, preferably in the engineering and construction sectors.
* Solid knowledge of corporate law and contract law.
* Familiarity with contractual clauses and dispute resolution mechanisms (e.g., arbitration, jurisdiction).
* Understanding of national and international legal and regulatory frameworks (e.g., public procurement, environmental law, workplace safety).
* Experience in corporate governance, document management, and contract review.
* Knowledge of Legislative Decree 231⁄01 and related compliance models is a plus.
* Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
* Availability for occasional international travel.
