The Contracts & Negotiation Manager role involves drafting and negotiating commercial contracts for Cytiva's customers.
This position is part of the Commercial Contract Team in Milan, Italy, with remote work options available. Our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Draft, review, edit, and negotiate commercial customer agreements.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and solicit buy-in from cross-functional stakeholders.
* Interpret business issues and recommend solutions; assess and lead initiatives to improve contracting processes and tools.
* Train and advise commercial teams on agreement structure, templates, risks, and alternatives.
* Work independently, with guidance in complex situations.
* Provide training, mentorship, and support to other contracts team members.
Requirements:
* Law degree required.
* 5+ years' experience with commercial contract review, redlining, and drafting.
* 5+ years' experience with contract negotiations and external client engagement.
* Demonstrable experience using analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify contract solutions.
* Possess advanced writing and communication skills with attention to detail.
* English fluency is a must; other languages are a plus.
Desirable Experience:
* BioTechnology or Pharmaceutical industry experience.
* Experience using Salesforce.com (SFDC) and/or an SFDC-based contract lifecycle management system.
