New Business Engineer
Do you like the idea of crafting and fine-tuning warehousing and distribution strategies tailored to meet each customer’s unique requirements? As a New Business Engineer you’ll dive deep into the details of customer orders, work processes, storage demands and product specifications. What you’ll do
As a New Business Engineer you’ll focus on designing and developing warehousing and distribution solutions to match customer requirements. Responsibilities include analyzing customer orders and work processes. You’ll also analyze storage, equipment and labor requirements. The role will challenge you to innovate and give you an opportunity to help craft business strategies to ensure our solutions remain best in class.
Collaboration is key in crafting cost-effective Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) for securing new business and increasing profitable revenue. You’ll engage with customers to evaluate their needs and propose solutions, develop business proposals, respond to requests for proposals (RFPs), and contribute to and write technical documents.
What you’ll need
1. Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
2. Experience using Microsoft products (Access & Excel) or equivalent software.
3. Preferably understanding of Warehouse Management System (WMS) design and functionality.
4. Preferably experience in IE or Supply Chain Solution Design and Development.
5. A general understanding of ways to identify and measure current customer and business needs. You can use business needs to define the project’s requirements.
6. A basic understanding of a business problem. You can recommend a solution to solve the business problem.
7. A working knowledge physical asset design. You can identify problems or issues with current physical assets, modify or adjust existing physical asset designs and recommend physical asset specifications.
Place of work in Rome or Milan area depending on applicant's preference.
