Taylor Hopkinson is recruiting a Project Engineer for a well-established international renewable energy company dedicated to the development, financing, and construction oflarge-scale solar PV and wind projects .
The selected candidate will play a crucial role in supervising, coordinating, and optimising thepreliminary and detailed designphases.
The role involves working closely with external engineering firms. Additionally, the candidate will supportpre-construction activities (secondary permitting)and collaborate with the construction team.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and refinepreliminary layoutsfor utility-scale solar PV and AgriPV projects, supporting early-stage development efforts.Supervise, review, and enhancedetailed engineering designsprepared by external consultants.Ensure compliance with corporate design standards, technical requirements, and regulatory constraints.Work closely with internal stakeholders and external consultants to optimiseproject layouts .Provide technical expertise on solar PV and AgriPV system design, including structural and electrical components.Supportprocurement and construction teamsin the technical evaluation of equipment (inverters, modules, mounting structures, etc.).Assist the construction team during thepre-construction phase, ensuring seamless project handover and permitting compliance.Requirements:
Master's degree inElectrical, Civil, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.At least3 years of experiencein the design and development oflarge-scale PV or AgriPV projects .Advanced proficiency inAutoCAD(mandatory).Experience withPV simulation and parametric design software(e.g., PVSyst, PVCase, or similar) (mandatory).Fluent inItalian and English(both written and spoken).
