JOB DESCRIPTION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Oversee the accuracy and timelines of all financial transactions and reporting, ensuring they meet established accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
2. Manage the preparation and maintenance of all financial records, including ledgers, journals, and invoices, enhancing financial data organisation and accessibility.
3. Develop and oversee effective billing and tax compliance procedures to minimise financial risks.
4. Oversee the weekly processing of accounts payable invoices, ensuring timely payments and conducting thorough reviews to avoid errors and discrepancies.
5. Analyse financial trends to provide actionable insights and forecasts that support strategic business decisions.

INNOVATION

2. Coordinate the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors to ensure efficient execution and compliance with all financial regulations.
3. Build strong relationships with financial stakeholders, including banks, investors, and regulatory bodies, to secure the interests of the Hotel.
4. Collaborate with senior management to refine financial strategies and allocate resources efficiently to promote organisational growth.
LEADING THE WAY
1. Represent the finance department in cross-departmental meetings, advocating for financially sound strategies that align with overall business objectives.
2. Lead financial planning and risk management assessments to enhance profitability and financial sustainability.
3. Regularly report to management on financial status, providing recommendations to optimise financial performance and meet fiscal objectives.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
3. Minimum 5 years work experience in accounting required.
4. Advanced written and verbal English & Italian proficiency required.
5. Extensive corporate and personal tax experience.
