Public Affairs Lead, Italy and EU

To continue strengthening our impact, we are seeking a Public Affairs Lead, Italy and EU to engage with policymakers in Italy and across Europe, leading campaigns to elevate CESI's profile on key industry topics within these regions.
This position is based at our offices in Rome, Italy.
Who You Are
Are you an experienced public affairs professional with experience working in a corporate environment? Do you have strong understanding of Italian and EU institutions and regulatory processes, particularly in the energy sector? What You'll Do
In this role, you will collaborate at the Italian and European levels to:
· Support Public Affairs initiatives on key topics, ensuring they align with business strategies and objectives
· Build and maintain partnerships and networks with stakeholders in line with our values and advocacy principles
· Contribute to developing tools, processes, and approaches to enhance Public Affairs impact, aligned with our business goals
· Lead the creation of policy position papers and other materials to engage policymakers and stakeholders
· Coordinate and manage webinars and seminars to strengthen CESI's reputation
Reporting To: Executive Vice President, Communication and External Relations
What We're Looking For
· A degree in Public or International Affairs, Communication, Economics, Politics, Engineering, or a related field
· In-depth knowledge of energy sector topics, with additional familiarity in infrastructure and space-related areas as a plus
· Experience developing and implementing advocacy, communication, and stakeholder engagement strategies within Italy and the EU
· A strong alignment with business goals and the ability to connect closely with business realities
· Proficiency in stakeholder mapping and an understanding of key stakeholder motivations
· The ability to communicate complex topics in a clear, concise, and engaging way
